Parsons,
TN - McCall Refrigeration, a subsidiary of The Manitowoc Company, Inc.
(NYSE:MTW), offers a new freezer that can hold food at -10°F. This
type of cabinet, often used as an ice cream freezer, holds colder temperatures
than a standard freezer, thus enabling foods to be stored and remain fresher
for a longer period of time. This freezer will be featured at the NAFEM
Show in Orlando, Florida in booth #1035.
This new model is available in a Wide Body 1-section cabinet
that measures 33.25"W and a 2-section standard size cabinet measuring
55"W. Standard features include all-metal construction, a top mounted
refrigeration system (condensing unit and evaporator compartment), an
expansion valve, relief vent, high efficiency evaporator motor (psc-permanent-split
capacitor) and exterior digital thermometer. Other benefit-friendly features
include heavy-duty chrome-plated door hinges and handles plus stainless
steel floors that add strength and simplify cleaning.
"We wanted to be sure that we created the kind of
flexibility that is critical for effective operations," states Brad
Davis, product line director for McCall Refrigeration. "By adding
the -10° Freezer to our reach-in cabinet lineup, we have filled a
critical product gap in this category."
