Parsons, TN - McCall Refrigeration, a subsidiary of The
Manitowoc Company, Inc. (NYSE:MTW), introduces their Drop-In refrigeration
components at the NAFEM Show in booth# 1035 in Orlando, Florida.
The new Drop-In refrigeration line, designed to be installed
in new or existing countertops, lends itself to a variety of uses in foodservice
operations, the most popular being salad bars and buffets. The line consists
of six models ranging from 1 to 6 pan capacities. The drop-in design accepts
full size (12" x 20") pans (not included) up to 6" deep.
Cooled with R-134a, the self-contained systems are fully
insulated with 1.5" foamed-in-place polyurethane. Cold wall technology
creates a system that adheres to NSF-7 requiring that food in the open
pan area be maintained between 33° and 41°F without freezing.
Options include a removable strainer plate designed to hold ice and spillage
above the drain to prevent clogging.
"The addition of Drop-In refrigeration compliments
our existing line of specification products and it allows us the opportunity
to offer designers and consultants another option in refrigerated storage,"
states Brad Davis, product line director for McCall Refrigeration.
